Wheels in the sand is the best company hands down!! This was our 2nd year renting from them for our son and I promise you won’t be disappointed! They are so very kind and thoughtful and even gave us a small ramp to use for the week for no extra charge due to the difficulty that our son was having getting through the entrance! The whole process from start to finish is so easy and they are very prompt with delivery and they always keep you informed of ETA for delivery and pickup! I cannot say enough good things about this company!! With their wonderful equipment and excellent customer service our son can enjoy the beautiful beach and ocean just like everyone else!! We will be continuing to use Wheels in the Sand for many years to come!! Thank you!!

Wheels in the Sand recommended the Mobi-chair for our 90yo MIL. She has bad knees. This chair worked great! We rolled her to the beach, over the dunes. It lounged, so she used it as her beach chair. She was comfy for 4 days on the beach. One of us would push, while two of us used the tether on the front to pull her over the dunes. Otherwise one person could maneuver her in the chair easily! This chair helped our trip to be a success. And Tammy was great with the drop off and pickup! You won’t be disappointed by renting from this company!

We were so grateful for Wheels in the Sand! My son can't access the beach without these beach wheelchairs and they work great for both getting on the beach and for taking a family stroll. The umbrella attachment was extra awesome to have. Wheels in the Sand was great about letting us know when they were coming to deliver and pick up the chair and they were so friendly and helpful. This is a great company offering a fantastic service.

I rented the Beach Rollator with umbrella this past Tuesday to Friday and loved it! I was staying at the El Governor Resort and had no trouble on the sand even with the beach restoration and the hill you had to climb. It really helped me get around and when I got tired, I just locked it and sat down. I will be renting it next time I’m in Mexico Beach! They are awesome to work with and so nice!

Paul and Tammy are the absolute best!!! The beach wheelchair worked so well for our daughter. They even had a tomato seat that helped her feel more comfortable. They delivered it right to our rental, then picked it back up so it is very convenient. They even helped us by having a small ramp that Paul had made for his home use. Saved our trip!!!

Wheels in the Sand was awesome to work with! The rental process was super easy to do online and when I called with a question, the representative was kind and helpful. They were very prompt with drop off/pick up and had our wheelchair delivered right on time. Our trip was right after hurricane Helene, and they had great communication with us through everything. The wheelchair worked perfect at our rental house and the umbrella was great for sunny days. Most importantly, this wheelchair allowed my mom to make it down to the ocean with our family everyday. Our family is grateful for your company - it gave her (and us) the ability to make a vacation memory that we will cherish for years to come. We highly recommend you to anyone! Thank you!

Wheels in the Sand provided an electric wheelchair for me while we were on St. George Island, Florida. They delivered it promptly and picked it up at the end of the rental period. (Make sure you book in advance because electric chairs likely book quickly!) The chair was in great condition, easy to operate, and allowed my husband and me to “walk the beach” in the evenings. Tammy was great to speak with and did a wonderful job coordinating what I needed. If we are in any of their service areas in the future, I will definitely use their service again!!

Wheels in the Sand helped make my birthday beach week with my sister totally awesome! It was so easy to book an appropriate ⛱️ beach 🦽 wheelchair using their website. Tammy and Paul delivered it to our beach hideaway exactly on schedule, spent time making certain we felt confident using it, locking it up with the security cable lock they provided --- and they were so kind and friendly to me and my sister, and my rather gregarious dog 🐕 who was vacationing with us. At the end of our week they picked up the chair right on schedule as well. The security deposit fee was refunded promptly, within a week of my return home. Love that it's a family owned and operated business inspired by their desire to share beach time with aging parents. If you or someone you know needs accessibility equipment to enjoy the beach on The Forgotten Coast of FL, you need to reach out to Wheels in the Sand!

Great experience from start to finish. It was easy to make reservations and communication answering questions was excellent. Everything happened exactly as promised and they couldn't have been nicer. It was so nice to have this service for my son so that he could enjoy the beach easily with us. We will definitely use again - 5 stars on every aspect ! Call Wheels in the Sand about motorized wheelchair. We needed it on St George Island. They delivered it the same day I called them. Professional and explained everything about the wheelchair. The wheelchair performed as advertised and there were no problems with the equipment. The wheelchair was clean and in great shape. They really take care of their equipment. Rates were reasonable. I highly recommend Wheels in the Sand.

We are so thankful for Wheels in the Sand! Our son was in a car accident a few years ago and has a spinal cord injury and without having specialized equipment that they offer, he would not be able to go to the beach!! The whole process from start to finish was eazy breezy! We even called them on the last day and asked if we could rent for one more day and they made it happen with no problems at all!! We definitely recommend Wheels in the Sand and will be using them for many years to come!! Wheels in the Sand provided excellent customer service and equipment. My son blew his knee out right before heading to the beach so we actually booked the day before at 5 pm and they had the chair to us by 8am the next morning (Easter Morning!). They came out and showed us how to use the equipment. Wonderful experience! It made our trip so much more enjoyable to have this chair. I would recommend them to everyone!

Wheels in the Sand is amazing! They were so helpful for my Mawmaw getting her to and from the beach. We rented the wheelchair it was a dream on the beach and super easy to maneuver on the sand. We loved chatting with the owners, they were extremely friendly and helpful anytime we talked to them! I can’t say enough about this company. My father was visiting us this past week. It may be his last visit. My mother wanted him to have one more experience on the beach. It was a last minute idea, so my wife and I start scrambling. My wife found Wheels in the Sand. Technically, they were booked out for the week. But, after hearing our story, they found a way to make it happen, and my dad got a sunset on the beach. The beach wheelchair was awesome. Very easy to maneuver on the parking lot and on the sand. Definitely rent the umbrella to attach to the chair and then can use on the beach also. The owners of this company dropped off the chair and were very informative, helpful, and kind. We tried to tip them, and they would not allow us to. The drop off and pick up was very easy. Highly recommend!!

We took turns pushing him up and down the beach during the day, splashing him with ocean water to cool him down along the way. We are incredibly lucky to have come across Wheels in the Sand for our recent trip to Cape San Blas. My mother-in-law had a stroke last year and thought her days shelling and sunning on the beach were behind her. The chair we rented, and the kindness of Paul and the team, gave my mother-in-law a trip to remember. Prior to finding their business, we hadn’t even dreamed of the possibility of getting her safely onto the beach, let alone her getting into the water.

Not only was this the perfect option for her- Paul went above and beyond, stopping by the Airbnb property we rented to ensure that the chair we had reserved would work on the boardwalk from our rental. Thank goodness he did, because the motorized option would not have worked with the setup (which was slightly different than the google maps photos). Paul recommended a great pivot to a different chair in plenty of time for us to still reserve before the holiday weekend rush. We’re based in Seattle and there would have been no way for us to check before it was far too late.

Wheels in the sand is definitely a game changer for a person who has limited walking ability. My wife has limited mobility and she found Freedom with her Sand Mobile. She is finally able to go up and down the beaches with my grandchildren. God bless wheels in the sand.
